I was actually implying that Faith would date Jocelyn if she wasn’t straight. Because frankly, neither one of them can stand being emotionally close to Allie.
@Lourenzo: I could be misreading it, but I think she’s saying she would help Jocelyn by taking Allie off her hands — i.e., becoming Allie’s girlfriend in Jocelyn’s place — if only she weren’t straight herself.
I’ve had similar situations like what Jocelyn’s going through. For example, I knew this guy on Twitter who kept having violent meltdowns like every week or two for EXTREMELY petty reasons, and I was usually the only one who had to be blunt with him and call him out on his behavior. Despite this, I had enough respect for him as a person that I continued being friends with him.
While he ended up getting himself suspended (though he’s now back under a different account), I was starting to get to the point where I was done trying to be civil and reasonable this guy because he refused to take his own advice and learn from his mistakes.
What I’m saying is that, Jocelyn is tolerating Allie’s behavior because she’s been friends/lovers with her for a long time and clearly had to have developed a sizeable respect for Allie for their relationship to last this long. But eventually, Jocelyn will reach a breaking point where she’ll finally be done being civil with her potentially ex-lover. And boy, will it be satisfying.
@jbwarner86: That’s how I read it.

I feel a little dumb but I dont understand faith’s last line. Is gay straight or bi?

Good to see Faith trying to be a supportive friend.
