Since when was Phyllis this big of a toady? She’s always been basically of the same mindset as Ronald, but at least she was a bit more mellow and less confrontational about it. There were red lines she would not cross, like when Ron tried to lock Vicky and Joce out in the cold. But now? Now it seems like she’s become nothing but a mindless “yes-woman” with no opinions of her own.
This could be a great start to give Jocelyn some more character development. She always hides behind a heavy amount of snarky behavior but I feel she has a vulnerable side that she refuses to show. I remember an earlier arc with Vicky years ago showed signs of that.
Phyllis is in denial.

Sheesh, she’s whipped. I didn’t think having her play the part of Smithers in my TOH Dracula parody would be that spot on. But here we are =P.
Yeah, his freedom. Everyone else’s, not so much.
“We support FREEDOM!”
Then why don’t you support your daughter’s choice of being FREE to be what she wants to be?

@Jim: Or she finally lost her own mind?
@ExxorD and @Anon: Obviously before she turns 18.
@ExxorD: Not soon enough.
How long is it before Jocelyn is finally free of that house?
So how long before Phyllis finally breaks free of Ron’s leash?
