Pour it all into a song, Joel. The first words are usually the hardest.

@Mole204 – Whenever Joel wants to achieve success, he fails miserably. But when he DOES achieve success, it’s either something he doesn’t want to partake in or it blows up in his face. I imagine there’s only so much losing a guy can take before he snaps (which amazingly Joel has yet to do).

This is probably the nicest I’ve ever seen Joel’s classmates act towards him lol

Teen angst is something MANY people in the ’90s related to, which was why genres such as Grunge were so popular.

Unfortunately, Joel lets his problems get the better of him and is more open about them compared to the rest of his friends, so of course his classmates wouldn’t pass up a chance to hang out with the new “bad boy” lol

Think Joel is starting to grasp what Kurt was dealing with.

Poor Joel. It’s tough being an outcast when you’re both the normal one AND the cool one. Of course, JB writes Joel genre-savvy enough to know that if he capitalizes on ANYthing, it’ll all collapse in the worst way possible.

Oh boy, Joel looks ready to snap sooner or later.
