Joel shouldn’t be surprised. If anything, he should be surprised that Trevor wasn’t trying to mug him, or copy Joel’s homework.
I would be amused to hear a song by Jocelyn that wasn’t built on, and of, screaming and swearing. She has _so_ many more insults to give than that!
The burden of gaining popularity is having to deal with stalkers and overly demanding fans (if you can even call them that). Poor Joel is already experiencing the early stages, and it continues to grow until it cumulates into straight-up harassment.
Now with the internet bigger than ever and the rise of social media sites such as Twitter and Tumblr, this has unfortunately only gotten worse.
