We have one strip left to discover what happened, if Jenny is still a child genius or she cheated like Bart Simpson in that IQ test and was sent to some special school before confessing what he did.
… why’d they jump right to “she’s gonna be treated as mentally disabled”? I feel like there’s a made-up connection to intelligence there, it’s weird that he jumped straight to Forrest Gump.
Yeah…..Jenny probably *did* do something to the game that Michelle’s not aware of. Considering everything she’s done that didn’t turn out so well (pouring chemicals on herself, short circuiting herself with the outlet, getting herself and Eric banned from the aquarium, etc.),I can’t see her winning chess.
The plot thickens.
Those “gifted” classes could and did lead to serious social consequences for the kids, so Michelle’s right to be worried about this.
If Jenny can’t chew gum without giggles then how can she blow a bubble? Speaking of that, I still want Eric to do it again.
@TV Head I mean, as Che would say, “It’s the 90’s Colin”.
The strip doesn’t shy away from how stuff in the 90’s has aged badly either, and I’m guessing that includes perspectives on mental disability.
” – whenever Poochie is not on screen, all the other characters should be asking ‘where’s Poochie?”

I can imagine Jenny taking medication, but not for the reasons they think.

Jenny’s keeping her goals small but effective. I respect that.
