God Arron I love you, but fuck really? New Coke was okay to you? The fuck?! I swear he was born without some brain cells. Good natured but dim as a low watt bulb.
@JIMENOPOLIX: But as this series is set in the 1990s (not counting the flashback from the 1980s), we do not know if Rick might still be alive in the modern era.
“Have a Bud”? As in “Bud Light”/”Budweiser”?
Does he not know about the dangers of giving that stuff to a child?
Also, about that Punisher stuff, I do wonder what the modern day versions of these characters would be doing or watching, and their reactions to modern shows and movies. Maybe Rick could see what’s up with the Punisher and reflect on his older (or younger) self.
@Superior Gorilla I watched that show’s entire first season. Rick would change his mind in a heartbeat that war is the most screwed up thing that can ever happen to a person.
If ’85 Rick could see Netflix’s The Punisher, especially that PTSD guy obsessed with wars and that shit, he would have re-considered his unhealthy obsession with Vietnam and the war. He thinks is doing what is best for his son but instead is doing this for himself!

And that is why they’re divorced
@ExxorD: Agreed.

Splendid, Rick. While we’re at it, we can light up a doobie and watch porn.
Could be worse. He could have given Aaron a Pabst Blue Ribbon.
@The Amazing Chris Godbey! Correct. It was also where the D-pad originated.
@Toon-Resurrection92 I’m guessing it’s a Donkey Kong II Game & Watch.
(If memory serves, the Multi-Screen line of Game & Watches are what inspired the design of the DS 20+ years later)
Rick will look back on this moment, and realise it was when he f****d up.
Bud’s an awful beer, too.
Giving alcohol to a kid and expecting him to hold a loaded rifle. Ooh, what fine memories Aaron will have down the line.
Also, is Aaron playing a tiger electronic or is that a literal Nintendo DS?
If he isn’t getting divorced because of whatever’s about to happen, he definitely is for getting Aaron drunk.

Yeah, Rick should probably save handing the beer to Aaron once he turns 21.
“They changed Coca-Cola!”
I mean, is that not a valid reason to wanna change the world for your offspring? LOL
