I think if Buster won, then the money should just not go to anybody.

Interesting that Frank found a bookie who’d take bets on that fight. Only one bookmaker in Las Vegas even bothered to take bets on it, as it was regarded as a one-sided fight in favor of Tyson

@Chris Wolvie: It WAS a fluke, and there was no mistake on Douglas’ part: Tyson knew his already inferior opponent was planning to retire after the match and didn’t train himself properly, not expecting that his mother’s sudden death would drive him to fight his finest fight ever, and when he defended his title the first and only time Douglas was STILL planning to retire as soon as possible, with Holyfield making it possible.

If I had to spend an hour in 1990, I’d definitely pick Jessica Fletcher over any boxing match.

@Troy: Some people just can’t own up to their own mistakes and have to blame everyone else for their own problems.

If I were you, Frank, I would NOT make the same mistake in October with Douglas’ first title defense. Even back then, I felt Buster’s win was a fluke and that he’d lose first time he put the titles on the line.

I can’t stand jerks like Frank, blaming other people for problems which are their own damn fault…

Kevin A: Frank probably took the money to a bookie. Tyson lost, so the bookie keeps the money.

So where does the money go if nobody bet on Douglas?

Where does all the money even go to anyway?

Look, just because you threw three grand down the toilet doesn’t mean you can take it out on those who didn’t. Not his fault you got in the vig.

Better hope Frank didn’t make his bet with a baby in red overalls. Because oh BOY, he’ll be begging for mercy XD
