I don’t even have to read the drivel Mole came up with to know what he said, based on everyone else’s responses to him. Same complaints, same misspellings, same lack of constructive criticism. Best thing to do, really, is to pass over his name whenever it comes up in the comments, and not even read a letter of his posts.
@Mole204: Do you really, honestly think so little of Jesus that you think he’d take OFFENSE to that? Do you think, for a MOMENT, that Jesus would even WANT nativity sets to be a thing, let alone demand it stay untouched?
I guaran-damn-tee that if Jesus came to Eden Prairie, he’d get on way better with Jos and her friends than he EVER would with Ron. I think he has a quote for people like Ron, in fact. “Depart from me, for I never knew you”
“Whatever has she destroyed IN THE FIRST PLACE?” Just a few day’s strips ago, they had a story where Jos marked up the nativity stuff. But that’s ok to you because “it’s Joscelyn”. Unlike children, Jos doesn’t know enough to not crayon on family decorations.
That’s a good summery, M. JB’s never going to change those parts because that’s what he likes to write about Joscelyin, and that’s what he can’t do with the rest of the NNS team for some reason. Too direct, I guess. They can’t all be monsters, they’re supposed to be the good guys. But Jos gets away with anything, not even questions asked.
There’s nothing wrong with questioning authority as long as you learn something from it- even when it’s proof that the authority in question needs to be replaced. There, questions answered, go back to gushing over Aunt Biker.
Even that Gonzo individual who always complained about the villians being similar or Lindsay being a mary-sue (which they ended up being dead wrong about) had one or two valid arguments. Sure, he was annoying, but at least he was actually willing to give actual criticism instead of complaining for the sake of complaining. Ignore him, Jesse.
Don’t tell Mole204 to play Persona 5. They’ll probably agree with the Palace rulers throughout the whole game just by way of being authority figures, despite all the fucked-up shit they do even from the very beginning.
I started reading NNS in April of this year, so I never had the chance to learn about Vicky aside from old Sunday strips on DeviantArt; I’m really excited that she’s in the comic again.
Heeeeeeeeeere’s VICKY! I’m looking forward to seeing how thoroughly she messes with Ron’s head this time around.
@Mole204: Stop. Just…stop. Nobody takes you seriously, you know that, right? Again and again, you continue to peddle your inexplicable, illogical disdain for the heroes of this comic (especially Jocelyn) and support for the authoritarian, apathetic, unlikable villains who oppress them. You’ve basically made yourself a walking straw-man; people don’t even consider the merits (or lack thereof) of your arguments anymore, they just shrug and say “Oh, it’s just Mole ranting again, just ignore him.” I’ll echo the same question that countless people have asked you by now: why do you even read this comic if you hate it so much?
She swears, she’s irreverent toward her father & questions authority, she’s bi, & she’s never framed as the bad guy despite that. She’s not the image of a “respectable” girl who “recognizes her place” as a cog in the machine. Not that having her suffer anything will make her more palatable to him. Remember how Joel’s physical stress response in Miseducation got Mole to glibly take Mulroney’s side?
I don’t know why, but Vicky reminds me of my mom’s closest friend. She was an absolute gem, too. Mind you my family is absolutely nothing like Jocelyn’s parents here. lol
I’m hoping the story goes differently than last time, if only because “why tell the same events twice” when you’ve got a chance to outdo them?
Who knows, maybe Ron gets a clue into his head that he was doing it wrong. We all know that will never happen to Jos, no matter what else she destroys or how generally idiotic she is.

@Mole204 Shut the fuck up already!

@MegaJar Wish @Mole204 had his or her IP blocked so he/she would never complain about everything anymore.

I was hoping this was when the original “black sheep” of the family would show up. This gonna be go-o-o-o-o-o-od!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
It seems out of character that Ronald would leave the front door unlocked.
The cool aunt has arrived!

@Mole204 Did Jocelyn kill your dog or something? Why do you dislike her so much?
@Mole204: What “else”? What has she ever destroyed in the FIRST PLACE?
@Mole204 I don’t… *get* your problem with Jocelyn, dude. What exactly is it that she did to make you dislike her so much?
Yay!

So this is Vicky?
QUEEN VICKY HAS ARRIVED!!!
Also, check your Patreon DM’s. I have a final question and then I’ll drop the subject. Promise.
Vicky’s in the HOOOOOOOOOOOOOUSE! air horn sounds
I see Vicky with Kaitlin Olson’s voice.
What’s wrong Phyllis? Don’t you know that family is an important competent of a Christian family?
Also, Phyllis is older than Vicky? Don’t know why, but I feel like that answers a lot of questions about the two of them.
Welcome back Vicky.
