On one hand, I’d like to consider Jenny’s outburst to be childish escapism; wishing the world was other than it is is the most dangerous form of delusion. On the other hand, I can’t say she’s wrong.
Yes, real life is pretty boring.
But in time, she may realize that we are THANKFUL whatever happens in the movies doesn’t actually happen in reality… most of the implications are rather freaky.
