I’m partial to Seinfeld, I have a few eps I like and it does make me laugh here and there, but it was never one of my favorites. I’m just somewhere in the “eh” category with the show and not really clamoring to see the entirety of it. I can thank the show for is introducing me to one of my favorite actor, Patrick Warburton.
And yeah of course Joel would have that opinion on the show, lol. Can’t say he’s wrong though. Everyone on the show’s a jerk.
With all due friendliness and respect–Y’all realize the cast of Seinfeld being sociopaths is the joke, right? Like, do you guys watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and say, “Man, these people are really selfish!”
I honestly tapped out of Seinfeld during S7. Susan’s death was one thing, but really, when George begged her and manipulated her into getting engaged to him, then treated her like the bane of his existence afterwards, there was no go going back for him or the show. I usually stop watching at Season 6.
I don’t agree that that’s an accurate review of Seinfeld. But I have -really- got to get around to rewatching Parker Lewis Can’t Lose. Seinfeld was a bunch of adults in over their heads, being goofballs and goofups, ruined by a laugh track.
Wait until they kill off Susan, Joel.

William isn’t a lying weasel, he’s only occasionally hopeless.

@Red Rain. Me too. For me, it was usually on when my family ate dinner.
I was down with Seinfeld right up until Susan’s death. Or rather, George’s utterly sociopathic reaction to Susan’s death.
That’s when it hit me how utterly awful the whole lot of them were and I tapped out permanently.
Admittedly, it took a while for me to get into Seinfeld, but the show grew on me as I got older.

Well, this is why Joel never argues with William.
Joel being into Seinfeld surprises me and DOESN’T surprise me at the same time.
