I’m really looking forward to these next few strips, I really want to get to know Jocelyn more (she’s definitely one of my favorite characters) and I think this will be a neat way for the audience to learn a little more about her.
(also slightly unrelated sidenote: Jocelyn is one of the reasons I’m into Sonic Youth now so that’s a definite plus to her character, at least in my eyes)
The fact that Ronald used Cain’s fratricide for his analogy is a nice bit of characterization. Also recalls to mind the certain someone who sides with obviously repugnant characters.
I’m also NOW just realizing that Phyllis and Vicky have opposite hair colors (brunette and blonde respectively). Seeing as how Jocelyn has naturally blonde hair, it makes me wonder if Phyllis is a natural blonde and died it brunette to disassociate herself from her sister… which makes me wonder about their childhoods growing up together. The lore gets deeper with each subtle detail.
Aunt Vicky should meet the Reverend. That would be fun.

I…don’t think that’s the analogy you want to use here, Ron.
@Superior Gorilla – Now that certainly would be one helluva plot twist.
Ronny, you still haven’t figured out that going to church doesn’t make you a Christian.
@M don’t say his name in a mirror three times or else he might return!
Be sure to tell Rev. Wilson about that snappy witticism, Ron. I’m sure he’ll appreciate that. Like @M said, no red flags there, nooooo.
@TheJayster49: I bet Vicky will be revealed to be Jocelyn’s biological mother and Ron and Phyllis are her adoptive parents.
Last comment, I swear, but this joke just now came to me:
Phyllis, you can go ahead and worship the sabbath all you want. Jocelyn, meanwhile, will instead worship the black sabbath and their prophet Ozzy.

@ Lourenzo: I see Wendie Malick as Patrica, personally

The tension is picking up.
wendie Malick would be a good Vicky voice.
I hope she meets Steve and the rest of the gang. They should have more cool adults in their lives
Depends on which “horned one” you’re talking about Ronald… oh who am I kidding, you hate him just as much LMAO
Also, Jocelyn likes Æon Flux? Neat!
