I can honestly say “I still don’t know” on the matter.
What I do know is MJ was doing SOMETHING inappropriate (criminal level or not) and SOMEONE in his camp should’ve taken him aside and explained why You Shouldn’t Do This.
Of course, theres every chance someone did just that and Michael completely ignored them.
It’s a testament to Michael Jackson’s enduring star power that these allegations, which would have completely destroyed the career and legacy of most lesser artists, did not destroy his. He’s still fondly remembered as the King of Pop by millions of people, even today.
Fun fact: the mother of one of my mother’s ex boyfriend’s was one of the jurors in Michael Jackson’s case. Her name is Melissa Herard, and she said that he was found not guilty not because they believed that he was innocent, but because there was a lot of reasonable doubt in the case. Gavin Arvizo’s mother filed a lot of bullshit lawsuits in the past, and was a fithy welfare cheat. This made the defense’s lawyer and the jury claim that she made her son lie about being harmed. She was also extremely rude to the jury, and her behavior ultimately led to the jury having reasonable doubt about Jackson’s crimes and he was found not guilty! I adamantly believe that Jackson was guilty, and he should have been punished severely for what he did to those children!

Steve is a good enough costumer to make every one of those heroine outfits for Jocelyn. 😁
@TheJayster49 – I forgot about that one. What was the Cobain scandal?
@Some Guy and yet he still has yet to fully open his eyes. That’s Steve for ya.
Yeah, the Michael Jackson controversy. Hard to talk about him today without this coming up.

Also, this kinda seems like a cute bonding moment, even if it’s, y’know, about fetishes.
@Peter R., it’s really, really easy to find. It literally sticks out.
I think this is the most shocked we’ve ever seen Steve, on that first panel.|
The infamous Michael Jackson incident… so many years from now…
I didn’t know those allegations went that far back.
It’s okay, Aaron. Nobody does.
I have a feeling this is meant to substitute the Kurt Cobain scandal strip from the original, no?
