Always remember: One of the people who got slimed was a young Alanis Morissette, (although that was when the show was still being made in Ottawa and Nickelodeon just provided some money in exchange for US broadcast rights).
@TheJayster49: She’s got the same problem we’re supposed to think Susan ChroniclesOfNarnia has: She’s trying way too hard to appear grown-up, so she doesn’t watch kids’ stuff.
I mean, so long as they air that bumper, it will give her a HUGE boost in popularity at school. Before the internet, even a second on TV (that wasn’t like local regional TV) was a huge fame boost.
@Rod G: I guess because it wasn’t as meanspirited. Lindsay was cheating with another man and Joel was snuck up to her hotel room, recording a sex tape of her in the act. I wish I could see the original again to make further comparisons.
I wonder if Katey will ever realize that being famous really is just a bunch of often unpleasant stuff done on a variety of different productions? Perhaps Lindsey could explain it to her.
I also wonder how much Joel is willing to pay for a copy of Katey’s screen tape to be mailed to him? Tina, too. She’s being kind. Perhaps something to show the class before the day’s video lesson?
Hey, if I got a chance to get slimed at THE Nickelodeon studios, I’d scoop up that slime in a jar and keep it as a cherished souvenir.
Also, how the hell does someone like Katy not watch Nickelodeon? With all the pop songs and wacky TV shows they got on there, you’d think it’d be a perfect fit for her.

You know, it is possible to be TOO optimistic, Tina.

@Red Rain Better how?
The only difference is that the Duquesnes weren’t here.

Well, at least Katy got some encouragement. Honestly, this iteration of the Universal Studios arc is way better then the last incarnation.
