How much are you folks going to bet that Steve, Aaron & Joel will discuss that Simpsons episode, whilst relieving themselves in the bathroom at Walter Mondale High?
CBG not being enough of a recurring character to warrant being featured in official merch or even just be regarded as a fan-favorite is how you know this is still the Golden Age. Not that I’m implying him eventually having more of a prominent role is somehow tied to the show’s decline or anything, mind you
@JIMENOPOLIX Actually yes, they do! Horatio McCallister, Jeff Albertson, and Pedro Chespirito. That said, I don’t think any of them were revealed until after “Who Shot Mr. Burns”. Could be wrong.

Oh yeah, how is ol’ Grimey?

@GumbyIsInnocent: No you’re right. Their canon names did get confirmed years after “Who Shot Mr. Burns” part 1 and 2 aired.
Incidentally, those three are going to be in for a shock when they find out who actually shot Mr. Burns once they watch part 2.
Jeff Albertson was in 2006, and my research puts the other two around 2020. Bet they don’t think The Simpsons will be around that long!

Wait… so those three guys actually don’t have a confirmed name?
“Gasp and shock!” is priceless.
This is how The Simpsons used to work. Too bad the subsequent seasons began to ruin that.
Steve is going to be proven right when the arc ends.
