I also just realized something…back on the 18th, I commented “Oh, fuck off and die already, Russell.” Admittedly, I know next to nothing about Green Day or their songs, let alone that “F.O.D.” is one of them.
I can’t help but feel a little proud about my unintentional prediction, if you can even call it that, lol. 🙂
Dear GOD this is satisfying. I especially love panel 5, with Jocelyn shoving a handful of mud straight down Russ’s pants. And that song fits so perfectly, it’s like it was written just for this moment.
I believe I now know why we were forced to put up with Russell for so long. It was all for this very, very satisfying moment. I mean, look at Joel’s smile in the second-to-last panel! And I don’t think Steve ever made such a wicked smile, even when he was pranking Mulroney.
I’ll print this out and get it signed by Green Day if it’s the last thing I do.
