@SleepyForecast, there is: “I’m Just a Bill”. But considering it has people arguing and the word “die” in the explanation,…yeah, Deb wouldn’t go for that. She probably Zaprudered that and thought she heard a curse word in the arguing so…
Is that a uncolored brownie in the last panel, or a leftover lemon square?
Of course Deb cares about Jacob. Didn’t Dr Frankenstein care about Igor? OK, not the best example…
It’s very nice to see Tina and William showing concern and care for Jacob and it will be interesting to know more about Tina’s history with Deb, considering they roomed together in college at one point.
@Mole204: Igor is the wrong example; Frankenstein abandoned his creation when it didn’t turn out like he wanted and left it to fend for itself.

“I don’t even know how laws get made!”
Somehow, I bet Jacob isn’t allowed to even watch Schoolhouse Rock. I think they had a video about how a law is made. ^^
“I mean she’s… uh, a good storyteller right? I’m sure she tells you a lot of stories she makes up on the spot.”
Oh, boy… I’d hate to see what happens if he does end up eating a brownie. Might he go on a sugar rush? This may not end well.
“She cares about you very much.” In what way? Like how a hungry cat plays with a wounded mouse?

Tina, you are proof that women are indeed from Venus if you think Deb actually cares about Jacob.
