For a second, I misread “T-shirt” as “bathing suit” which made me think “OK! That’s not in any way pervy of Deb, knowing THAT level of clothing a child wears that isn’t yours.”
While I know it’s (probably) not a riff on the book, A Tale of Two Cities didn’t end well for anyone, and Deb is just so insufferable that comeuppance is inevitable.
Bastille Day was the 14th of July, not August, but there’s always hope.
I noticed that Jacob doesn’t look all depressed like he usually is, as if he’s finally starting to get fed up with his mom.
I’m actually hoping we’ll see him interact with Joel and his friends, both because it would be interesting to see him get some actual life lessons from them and also because it’s rare to see Joel hang out with a kid that isn’t Jenny or Eric.
Ugh I swear if this ends with her gloating again =_=
Will Deb get all bent out of shape that her Congresswoman won’t do anything, and try to run herself? Final tally, D. Hargreaves, 0.002%…
Oh, goodie, more of Deb and the journey of frustration…
At least it looks like Jacob’s building more of an attitude. Though I wouldn’t let it out just yet. “Mommy” still has some power over you, sadly.
Aww Debra. Glad to see you … ruin everyone’s fun again!
This may or may not be where Deb finally gets her comeuppance, one way or another.
“Uh-huh, one second, ple-*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*”
Someone call Child Protective Services

I want so much to just smack her across the head. :/
Buckle up, this is gonna be a ride. Glad Jacob is starting to stand his ground a little more.
