@TheJayster49: Lindsay and Joel have definitely interacted before. She hired Joel and Jocelyn to play at her house party during the brief period when Joel was in Allie and the Hysterics, she offered to let him be her touring guitarist if she won “Star Search”, and she and Craig were at a Westworld garage show before her vacation to Euro Disneyland. Every time, they were on friendly terms with each other.
As for when Lindsay leaves for college, don’t worry – that’s getting an entire story unto itself in a few weeks ๐
It’s cute to finally see Lindsay and Joel interact, but I noticed this is the same (almost) exact Sunday strip from the original. I feel like this Sunday strip doesn’t really work in this continuity since Joel and Lindsay have little… actually, I don’t think they’ve even interacted at ALL in this continuity (or at least I don’t remember if they’ve did).
Not to mention, hasn’t she already gone off to college by this point, or has that yet to be officially put into motion? Kinda feels like there’s a bit of conflicting continuity here, being perfectly honest.
If you’d told me ten years ago that these two characters would have a sit-down earnest conversation about trends and the downsides of bolt-from-the-blue breath-of-fresh-air successes, I don’t think I’d have believed you.
Heh well not a bad talk. This was cute.
@Ghost: Still…That was very satisfying to see Mulroney get demoted to Janitor after 20 years of neglect and spite towards his students and staff.
@MattTEHMan1991 I’m pretty sure that was a regular 4 strip panel
Nobody did, Lindsay. Nobody did.
I’m so old fashioned, when my jeans rip I get them fixed. ๐
This is a very good sunday strip as Joel and Lindsay interact for the first time in a while!

Kevin Iโm pretty sure thatโs how you end up with brain damage
Swell kids, these two.
Nice to see Joel and Lindsay interacting in a Sunday strip.

These 2 have come a long way, in every sense of the word.
@Ghost: We actually last saw Lindsay in that chapter where Mulroney got demoted for deliberately trying to keep her as his slave.

Hey, I was wondering when we would see Lindsay again! She hasn’t made an appearance since the end of the graduation arc back in May!
It’s been a long while we saw Lindsay in a Sunday strip!
