@Toonlegion That last comment rings like taking an Amazon employee to task for their employment despite how well known the way Amazon regards its workers.
Oh ho yeah “Belle” is definitely fired after this. But poor Lindz, I mean the words have truth to em and really no one wanted a Euro-Disneyland (Mind you I’m basing this off of Defunctland’s vid on the subject but the girl certainly didn’t deserve that kinda attitude. But eh I’m seeing that her character arc is that trying to change the word ain’t all puppies and rainbows and you gotta understand the ugly side of things to really get the big picture.
Though yeah if “Belle” is so against this, why the Hell is she working there? Kinda hypocritical.
I haven’t read from the beginning of the rebooted strip, but has there been an occasion where Lindsay attempted to help the less privileged without operating on fundamental assumptions that could be reasonably interpreted as classist and/or condescending?
Ah, a nice, polite statement of differences. This could really have taken a worse path. Yes, the French have castles, but only because stone is so hard to set on fire.
3 more strips to finish the chapter, and the Duchesquenses haven’t even had to negotiate for their luggage.
Well then, see if we save your ass again the next time you’re invaded, mademoiselle!
@M: What?

o/~ Lindz is called a witch/Real life is a bitch/Beauty is a beast!! o/~
Well, unless there’s indentured servitude in France, you chose to work there, mademoiselle.
*Were any better.
Need. Sleep. Now.
As if the frogs fare any better when it comes to cultural imperialism, gettin’ huge post-WWII irrelevancycope vibes from her little outburst.
She definitely voted for Marine Le Pen in the last election.

Welp, the truth is out.
@Toon-Resurrectionist92: I’d say Disney doing a bit of imperialism in the French countryside is ugly enough, but that’s just me.
Damn lady. You’ve acted liked you’ve worked here for years! You have yet to experience the ugly side of Disney.
@Red Rain More like a reality vibe check.

We’re all living in America. America ist wunderbar.
And that is what we call a reality check.
Well, Belle ain’t wrong. Lindz should have said her family name is French.
Lindsay, you ain’t no Joan of Arc, but I’m guessing you wish you could go out like her right about now.
