As of late, I’ve grown tired of media that delve into mature emotional depth only to have happy endings. I feel there is SOME lack of reality for everybody in fiction to have a happy ending. When I expect something to be gloomy, I WANT IT TO BE GLOOMY!
I suppose you hate “The Sunshinmakers” then (which I consider the best color short at the infamous Van Burean studio).
