Ya know, I don’t mind crazy characters that appear in the strip. I felt the real problem was that the bad guys stuck around completely unpunished for far too long. If they got their comeuppance swiftly and left afterwards, then I feel things should be fine. And maybe have them be more cartoonishly insane like Jessica here helps too.
As someone who had to deal with people like her on a regular basis, this is therapy.
