I’m glad I’m not the only one who agrees that Jessica is going bat-crazy way too soon. Again if this went over a few strips which lead up to this then it would feel better. But like MegaJar said that Jessica had only known Lindsay for not even a week and somehow Jessica is already losing her mind. If that’s all it took for that to happen then Jessica was never emotionally stable to begin with.
Red rain- Jessica in a straightjacket. It’s not likely that a school would shell out enough money to buy that. Unless they get a student like Kevin, but that was the last volume. I wonder just what the school nurse’s office is able to handle? And what sort of estate sales they got the equipment they did get shipped? Hmm, school fixture supplies via Viet Nam era war surplus? It might not be the time to stop by Rick’s hardware store, though.
@TheJayster49: Yeah, I think I’m gonna have to agree. It’s natural for there to be SOME level of rivalry between Jessica and Lindsay over who gets to be the “alpha”, but this is going WAY over the top. Jessica has known Lindsay for less than a day, and she’s already gone completely bat-shit insane.
She can barely stand, she ain’t going to cheerleader. She runs on hate and.. nothing else it seems. What sort of toilet tears a top in two places? All that and it isn’t her physical appearance that’s the disaster about her. Heh, remember when Jessica was expected to be modeled on Jessica Rabbit?
That we can.
Fair point but still I think we can agree that it would have gone better if this wasn’t happening so quickly.
…or emotionally stable.
Gonzo, I don’t think anyone ever accused Jessica of being mentally stable in the first place, if we’re being honest.

Jessica feels a lot like Old Lindsay to me
Jeez, any more rage and she’s gonna catch on fire. Which she’d probably claim as burning more calories.
She needs help.
I’m surprised she still has all her teeth after that much purging.
Craig. Run away. Very fast. She’s too delirious and weak to catch you anyways.

Yeah the comic has the problem of making certain super unstable and psychotic. Granted its toned down compared to past strips

Likewise, Jayster. I’m betting Jessica is gonna be in a straitjacket by the end of this arc.
My point from the previous strip continues to stand.
