He thinks they are happy being divorced, but Marion is the only one while Rick refuses to move on. He thinks his friends are happy with that jerky boss of theirs. He thinks EVERYTHING IS FINE, BUT IT IS NOT!
I’ve said before that Steven Universe has more balls than Aaron, but in retrospect, he truly is this comic’s equivalent of said character… only without the “turns into a monster because I cannot cope with my own trauma” thing :p
