Still ignoring they were on her property and vandalizing, I see. Yeah it’s chalk but the two were still where they weren’t suppose to be. Maybe apologize first for that before going on a tirade about harsh discipline?
@Ghost I think you’re being a little harsh. Yes, Liv and Patricia aren’t perfect and may not understand their kids at all times, but they do care about their kids and want what’s best for them.
There’s no such thing as a perfect parent, but many of them (including the ones from Nineteen-Ninety-Something) try and do what they can to give their kids a proper upbringing. The only parents I can say are terrible in this series are Ronald and Deb.
Okay, confirmation that it was chalk, not marker. That lessens the crime, as it were. Will Mrs. F get home and find her front door covered in cartoons?
At least, Liv and Louise are starting to being more supportive. Well, Liv started to do so since the storyline from ‘The Fugitive’, but seeing Louise to start taking more responsibility towards Jenny may count as well.
Patricia and Marion have their flaws as well. The previous storyline saw more of the former, while the latter has made many mistakes even after divorcing Rick, especially when she tries to start over with some new.
But still, I was right, the mothers’ club from last storyline seems to expanding, and now it is up to Phyllis and Lori to join them as well.
@Ghost Marion is probably the only parent here who’s unambiguously good.
Liv and Louise aren’t outright abusive or anything, but they’re incredibly belittling towards their children all because they have interests they don’t understand, in addition to being frequently apathetic towards their problems. Patricia’s trying to be a good parent, there’s little doubt about that, but she’s DEFINITELY not without her flaws.
Yeah it is DEFINITELY a nice change of pace seeing the parents in this comic act responsibly instead of being indifferent towards their kids’ problems.
Well, I suppose that applies more to Liv and Louise than it does Patricia and Marion, but my point still stands.
@TheJayster99 @IronRaphRa Nah! They’re shit parents! Always will be!
Marion is good tho
@IronRaphRa: And Rick (to a lesser extent).

Ah, so they WERE aware of what Jenny has done.
Well, good to know it was chalk.

It’s a breathe of fresh air to see the parents in this continuity be more reasonable than the previous one.

@Ghost, Hey Marion is good
Clearly that woman wasn’t beat enough!
And who are any of those 3 to judge? They’re shit parents, too.
