Reading is absolutely fun…when you’re reading something you like. When you’re forced to read something you have zero interest in, you burn out on it really quick.
More kids would love to read if they were given more freedom of choice and not talked down to depending on what they chose.
Considering Mr. Braddock is basically a not so subtle expy of Mr. Feeny, I imagined he’ wouldn’t be a complete stick in the mud who won’t admit when he’s wrong.
Too bad that logic won’t work in math class next.
Also, Braddock should just wait until ’96 when Animorphs starts coming out.
I really like Eric, as a character. He’s just a really nice kid.

One of many reasons I’ll never miss school.

Well I’ll be damned, another adult admits they were wrong!!
Having said that, it was a decent try though.
YAY! THE KIDS HAVE WON!
And not to mention an adult gets taught a good valuable lesson.
All’s well that ends well.
Least Mr. Braddock lightened up a little.
Say Cheese and huh?
Children who love reading AND a teacher who’s willing to back down? Not things I’d expect to see in a comic like this 🤣
At least he finally learned his lesson (?).
