@MegaJar: Back when Vicky was (re) introduced, she and Phyllis argued about what the latter thought Jocelyn’s best interests were and it was very clear she does not know anything about her daughter.
You know, I sort of sympathize for Phyllis. Unlike her holier-than-thou husband, she actually does want what’s best for her daughter — she’s just totally clueless as to what that is.
At least she’s trying. I can honestly see Jocelyn and Phyllis being friends sometime in the aughts. Probably sometime after Ronald’s second or third coronary.
How much longer will it be before Jocelyn and Steve decide enough is enough and elope? (Making the bold assumption that marriage is even their thing, of course.)
Months ago, when that strip talking about David Koresh came out, someone thought that Jocelyn had moved up with Vicky and @jbwarner86 said that, if that came to happen, he would make a story of that. Now I think that story IS about to happen soon!
@Ghost: Ooohhh! I hope Phyllis kicks Ronald’s ass to the curb in the next chapter, especially after he goes too far in trying to control Jocelyn.
I wonder if Jocelyn’s mom is gonna divorce Ronald!
