Why is everyone convinced this is a dream? Like, if I did a dream sequence based on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, you’d know it – we all know how dream sequences work in this series, it’d actually be Marion as Dr. Quinn in the world of the show 😆
Which I almost did, but opted not to, because a.) I just did the Jurassic Park dream sequence immediately before this, and b.) I did not watch enough Dr. Quinn as a kid to know it inside and out. I only remember my grandma watching it a bunch and me hating it because it was on Saturday nights and it was cutting into valuable time I could’ve spent watching Clarissa Explains It All and Roundhouse on Nickelodeon.
In researching it for this story, I learned two things – there was a hunky mountain man character who drew in most of the show’s audience, and the show overall had a very syrupy holier-than-thou tone of “Gosh, these backwards-thinking frontier people just aren’t progressive enough! It’s up to Dr. Quinn to show them the right way to live!” And I’m as left-leaning as they come and even I can’t stand that kinda shit 😆
@jbwarner Yep, that pretty much sums it up. My mom liked the show and I’ll admit it, I only watched it for the hunky mountain man. haha

I’m starting to think that Marion fell asleep studying while Dr. Quinn was on in the background…
Damn, Aaron might just be the chillest human being in history. Broken wrist? No biggie.
What do you want to bet Sully would be an anti-vaxxer in modern times?
Does the Healing Horse Spirit come with his own x-ray machine?
This reminds of the one scene in Shrek. I can still hear Donkey repeating “Blue flowers, Red Thorns” over and over again.
Yeah, Aaron needs a hospital pronto.
“No, you dipshits! Waving your hands around me won’t fix anything!” — Yakuza 0 quote that seems relevant here.
Only two strips to end this storyline! I wonder if this will end up being a dream or Marion will have to lose Aaron’s custody too?
You sure you couldn’t just put some kind of gem on his wrist and magically heal it? That worked in Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
Yeah… might be a good idea to get Aaron to a hospital. Steve’s got the right idea.
Or..get him to a fucking hospital!
