I….don’t see Steve as the “chaos mathematician” type. Oh, “chaos”, definitely…but not “mathematician”.

@MegaJar: If Eric will play Tim, then Kendra would fill in for Lex as she was a teenager too.

@JIMENOPOLIX Maybe it doesn’t count when he’s in a dream. XD

Previous page: Steve still wears his hat even in the pool.

Current strip: HOLY CRAP!!! STEVE WITHOUT HIS HAT!!!

Oh wait, there’s also Lex, she’s another main female character. But Jenny’s probably going to be playing her, so the question of Joc and Kendra’s casting remains.

Ooh, Jurassic Park dream parody arc! This oughtta be good!

Let’s come up with some fun casting ideas! Aaron could maybe play Robert Muldoon (“clever girl!”). Sadly, Ellie Satler is the only main female character, so Jocelyn and Kendra probably won’t have parts to play. Although, all of the dinosaurs are female, so maybe they could play raptors?

Either Zeke or the elitist comic book store owner should play Dennis Nedry, definitely. And Mulroney should play the slimy lawyer (I forget his name) who abandons the kids in the Jeep to go hide from the T-Rex in the outhouse (“when you gotta go, you gotta go!”), and is immediately eaten by said T-Rex.

    Anyone else?

I was never all that jazzed over Jurassic Park. I know I should’ve been, the CGI was amazing for the time. But it was never the movie itself, but the behind the scenes stuff that interested me.

That seems to be my thing. I love learning the history of something and the lord made for it.

Seeing Jurassic Park was like the second semi-date I ever went on. With a boy I had met on a local BBS. That’s probably not peak 90s nerdery, but I think it’s up there.

Steve has his father’s laid-back attitude, but his mother’s looks.

“Life …uh..finds a way.” I can take a wild guess that Eric and Jenny will play the two kids.

@TV Head. Not really. I’d say 2001 will be a disappointment for them.

I’ve always wondered what a hatless Steve would look like. Guess I have my answer now.

(yeah yeah I know that Steve didn’t have a hat in his initial design, but that was over a decade ago so it doesn’t count in my opinion)

Happy 30 years to one of the most iconic films of the 90s. I would have been shocked if you didn’t create an arc surrounding it.

Anyway…Joel as Alan, Michelle as Ellie, Steve as Ian? I love this already.

    This storyline will be fun!

Also, first time in a while we see Steve WITHOUT his trademark hat.

Boy, 1997 is going to be very disappointing for them.
