I’m glad that ended well. Hopefully Becca comes back at some point and shows that she learned what Jocelyn had to say, because she honestly is better than some would give her credit for. I hope she continues to learn and grow.
Well, this is a really pleasant surprise. I’m really glad Jocelyn was able to pull Becca out of the deep end (metaphorically speaking).
Now I wonder, if she’s gonna be a recurring character. I think it’d be nice to see things from the perspective of Jocelyn’s protege.
also:
surreptitiously: in a way that attempts to avoid notice or attention; secretively.
I bet Becca would be absolutely wicked in Scrabble if she has such a rich vocabulary XD
HOLY CRAP! IT HAPPENED! IT FINALLY HAPPENED! A jerk actually LISTENED to reason and realized how wrong she was about the whole thing! After so many antagonists having cracked and snapped, this is certainly refreshing to see!

Also, “surreptitiously”? I just learned a new word today. Don’t know what it means, but I’m more surprised that teens dressed like this use vocab like that.
Never thought I would say this, but there was hope for Becca after all. I have said in past strips that I wanted her dead, but what has surprised me is that we have finally the first redeemable character in the series (aside from Lindsay)!
Hmm, I thought she would become a recurring antagonist since all of the past ones are either arrested or otherwise humiliated into defeat. At least she is somewhat redeemed though.
Glad Becca came around and owned up to her bitchy behavior. The hardest thing and bravest thing one can do is to take responsibility for their actions, even if it’s difficult to do so.
Holy shit, somebody in this comic’s universe actually realized they were wrong and are willing to make an attempt to change? Hell has officially frozen over.
@The Eye
Now that makes sense. Thanks for the definition.
@El-Man
Oooooof… yeah, that’s unfortunate…
Hope it’s not permanent and perhaps she could change it. Or at least improve it.
Plus, Becca, that word above your navel could really be misconstrued…

Let’s see if you know who still wants her dead!
