I am laying here in rapt aww of what just happened, and am letting my mind rush with thoughts on who would be so heinous as to purposefully tank her grades like that. My first thoughts are the principle, but it seems too easy.
Then again, Occam’s Razor. Who has access to the grades and the ability to make them all Fs. Certainly not those half-whits in the student council, and definitely not what’s her name that tried to literally murder her after failing to ruin her reputation. So yeah, has to by Mulrhooney.
Darn it, I really wanted her to just have lack of drama for this arc.
@El-Man: Mulroney doesn’t seem like the “cut off your nose to spite your face” type. So keeping her around when he finds her insufferably chipper would be a major backward hustle.
So that’s what Mulroney was planning. He rigged Lindsay’s grades to try to make sure she won’t graduate and have to repeat senior year so that he can keep her on as one of his student advisors. This is gonna backfire on him so hard.
All Moron-y has to do is keep it a secret that he changed the grades and the reason for it and he’ll be…ah, who am I kidding? He’ll be bragging to his secretary in minus-two seconds flat!
