I can sympathize, in principle, with the feeling of frustration at seeing the prices on everything constantly going up. But…99 cents? Seriously? You’re freaking out over 99 measly cents?

Other readers, please note that I am living in a third world country and will be very bitter about any comments about the current state of US Economics.
Most of the teens in this comic are pretty casual about guys like Mike, so seeing him get scared shows that Mike ain’t to be messed with.
Also I’m now just noticing there’s no tag for Mike even though he’s somewhat of a recurring character in the comic. I think it would be helpful to have a tag for him cause I keep thinking his name is Frank.

When Mike was his age, i don’t think they had 2-liter bottles. I’m kind of shocked that he didn’t complain that bottles were in metric now.
