@JIMENOPOLIX: JB’s exaggerating it for comedic effect, but Jimmy Slade was one of the most stunningly poorly-acted characters on Baywatch. He was played by professional surfer Kelly Slater, and his agent basically got him on the show against his wishes. Slater was not an actor, nor did he even want to be there, so that led to an unenthusiastic, awkward performance that needs to be seen to be believed.
@Christopher Max Wall: I admit it, I totally used Allison Pregler’s Baywatching as research for this story. I didn’t have time to actually sit down and watch multiple Baywatch episodes, so I figured the comedic cliffs notes versions would work fine, if not better 😆
