Knowing Joel, he’d probably regard Lars as another typical hypocrite of an a-hole and would want NOTHING. To do with him.

@Alex D. Yeah. But knowing Aaron, he’ll probably spout out something that would be the complete opposite of what Harley said.

If Michelle is “comforting” Joel right now, guitar lessons sort of pale in comparison. 😍

@MegaJar True. I did overlook that angle despite the change in text format that could signal that being the intended meaning.

Looks like Aaron did not get the point of Lars’ story.

Hang on a second here. The way I read this, Harley isn’t suggesting that Joel drop out like Lars did. He’s suggesting that Joel take guitar lessons FROM Lars — so he can finally have a teacher who gives a shit.

Is he trying to get Joel to pursue this course of life, or is he trying to sell the gang music lessons?
I mean it could be both!

Got to say, I love Harley’s character. Like I said before, Joel is better off getting his GED considering the shitty quality of his High School.

Aaron’s right. That’s a good story, but what about Joel? One successful anecdote does not equal a viable, repeatable strategy.
I suspect that that cookie sleeve that Joscelyn has is actually raw cookie dough.

To be completely fair to Aaron, there’s no guarantee that Joel going down the same path Lars did will generate the same yield for him.

Aaron has wisdom one strip that clearly sounds like the solution here, and in another he can’t take the hint. Does he need sugar 24/7 to keep his brain going or what? LOL

Harley’s a great character. Love it when he pops in.

Aaron, as we say in the south, bless yer heart
