Not in the sense that Deb turned him off women forever, that’s a horrible sexist indication, just in the sense of him truly being the anti-Deb. (that & maybe his hairstyle) Of course, this was before Jacob’s quick goodbye yesterday and this (as yet to be determined but pretty much spoiled) revelation.
Chris Wall’s not gonna be pleased about today’s strip, but if he’s reading this, turns out there are indeed real-world examples of homophobes who turned out to truly be gay.
Now is everyone done melting over Jacob getting a good ending before being sent to Wisconsin? Deb is surviving in the hoosgow! The lockup! The iron bar hotel! 🙂 That sounds more like “I’m so imperfect” jealousy in that last panel, not “I find Tina sexy.” Perhaps if Deb had turned some college-boy’s pursuit of Tina her own (Deb’s) way, then Deb could (wrongly) blame Tina for Deb’s choice of a husband. Deb’s got a lot of life choices to regret, so it’s understandable that she’s going to start at whatever she can pin on anyone else but herself. (facepalm)
In more important matters, what sort of union member protection legal attack would the (CBS? ABC?) have waiting for someone who attacks a duly filming news employee in Gulf War era America?
