@Jayster, the 27 Club is a whole myth, actually. I was gonna make my own joke about it, but you beat me to it. πŸ˜›

You ain’t seen nothing yet, Joel, country will transform once again in the 2000’s, into the sound of the traditionalists, the warmongers, and the good ol’ boys, leaving outlaw and pop country in the rear-view mirror. The only real change that seems to happen since is the emergence of rap-country, which usually gets shouted down for totally not racist reasons.

    Don’t play that song
    That achy-breaky song
The most annoying song I know
And if you play that song
    That achy-breaky song
I might blow up my radio

I wonder if JB would indulge us with a look at the kids in their 40s? 😁

Yeah, never was a big fan of Billy Ray Cyrus’s music. Personally, I prefer Outlaw Country artists like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Although Oak Ridge Boys is still pretty cool in my book.

Why not die at 27, Joel? That way, you’ll be the same age as your hero.

    … Too dark? Lol
