Jayster- Jessica? The character from ‘The silence of the lambs’ chapter? Yeah, I could totally see her walking up to Lindsey and ruining her outfit inside and out to prevent her from accepting the award, or making the speech or whatever. Nick would argue that Lindsey abdicated the position and that it goes to him instead.
So there _is_ a shadowy past? It could be anything from she dropped a bitey kitten, to she gutted a man in LA with her square earrings. If April 1st was coming up, I might be expecting a reference to the ‘previous version’. This Lindsey is so nice she might think that rear-ending a car would constitute turning evil, to say nothing of the sort of near-assassination that goes on in show business.
Looks like Kevin has done things even he regrets. Like, I can imagine Lindsay regretting decisions she’s made before, but Kevin never struck me as the remorseful type (or at least completely remorseful). Either way, it’s a huge step up for his character.
I was just thinking about it, and now I’m wondering if Jessica may make an appearance in this storyline. Like, perhaps Nick broke her out of that Catholic school and she tries to pass off as being “redeemed” but is actually just plotting to get back at Lindsay. Much like the original storyline, except perhaps maybe less melodramatic.
The past will come out sooner or later.
