You know, most chemical decontamination showers I’ve seen has a small lip to avoid getting the water everywhere. So a mop probably isn’t needed.

As someone who was picked on quite a bit all throughout grade school, I am fully on board with this message.

I spent many of my childhood years trying desperately to be accepted, to fit in, to make people like me. It never worked. And I just kept wondering, what am I doing wrong? What’s wrong with me? Why can’t they accept me for who I am?

But finally, I had an epiphany. People who care about you, who offer you constructive criticism because they want to help you improve yourself, THOSE people are worth listening to. But the guys who made fun of me every day? They did not care about me, or want to help me improve myself. They were just making fun of me for the sole purpose of making me feel bad and themselves feel better. They were nothing but a bunch of jerks. And why should I care what a bunch of jerks think of me?

It took a long, long time to learn that important lesson; it wasn’t till high school that it really clicked for me. But I thank God it did, because that was a true turning point in my life.

What a sweet way to end things.
Wonder if the bullies will still go after them for vengeance.

Jenny’s teasing of Eric is all in the name of good fun with her best friend. She has no ill intent with her teasing him, and she does it because she likes him. lol

@ Jayster: Maybe something will happen with Deb’s son & he’ll join their small circle.

This is more wholesome than expected. Eric learns to be true to himself, Jenny gets to misbehave. And someday, Jenny is going to choose some really strange mistletoe.

While it’s nice that Jenny’s always there for Eric, it would be interesting to see him break out of his shell and actually make new friends beyond just her or trying to impress his bullies.

I’ve been reading this comic for years and I’m JUST now realizing how very little friends Eric has (assuming Jenny isn’t his ONLY friend). Now I really feel bad for kid.

This page is 4-panel play on the word “chemistry.” Nice.
