Always remember what your ol’ pal Strong Bad says about time capsules, kids. Shame Jenny is too soon to learn what he has to say on the subject.

I think Jenny could still put that to good use. It would be considered a relic of the past, and maybe many kids would be curious and interested about how the older generations used to create playlists at a time before the internet was a thing or advanced.

Buuuuuuut, if any future kids are like Jenny is currently, maybe with shorter attention spans, they probably won’t care and just use it to create a YouTube video where they destroy stuff in slo-mo, for the likes and views.

Or that could be Jenny’s own idea…

Heh yeah she saved her some trouble. Unless they want it vintage, most of that stuff you can just see on DVDs or from video sharing sites these days. Though yeah VR TV shows are still a bit out. They’re still trying to make it a think (at the time of this writing) but I’m fine with my flatscreen thanks. Now when they start making holograms though….

Damn, I forgot Rugrats was on in 1992. It continued well into my lifetime, so I just kinda figured it started much later.

The clock is a ticking. Soon we’ll all be in our fifties and sixties by the time that capsule is open.

Even before then Michelle, computer speeds will be compared by GHz rather than MHz. xD

If I had known the way that things were going to go, I would have spent less at the local video store. On the other hand I did like the local video stores, so I might would have felt a bit guilty in that timeline. I wonder what would have happened if they had planted the tape anyway? Ground up by a mulcher or something?
Yorgi will be missed in 2042, but he won’t be obsolete.

These technological predictions are about as accurate as the Mayans trying to predict the end of the world.

Aaah, Time Capsules. Brings back good memories. Admittedly, I’m a bit old school since its 2022, and I still have a VCR.
