Well first off, I’d like to start by saying, Merry Christmas JB and everybody else in the comment section!
As for the story I get that there’s three more strips left in this storyline (I’m not counting the Sunday strip cause those are usually standalone), but I’m gonna be absolutely honest, I’m a little disappointed with the reboot’s take on the Star Search arc.
Mainly because of how short it was compared to the original; the original, if I remember correctly, had three or four storylines that focused on it (excluding any Sunday strips). However, the reboot only had two (again, excluding Sunday strips). Lindsay losing her stardom because of her mom bribing the judges feels like a rather abrupt and somewhat anticlimactic end to the arc.
And knowing Kevin… yeah, I would just straight up burn those sheets… and maybe the mattress too.
Merry Christmas to all, though Patricia should probably return at least one of those.
That’s a 100% Kevin moment, especially since presents are usually unwrapped in the morning so that’s something she should have been told yesterday…
