We’ve got a Lindsay that I’d like to see win, up against a southern sweetie pie instead of a human rattlesnake. Am I just used to the good vs evil setup? Expecting the Even More Good character be secretly evil behind the scenes? Am I wrong in expecting Olivia “Trueheart” be clearly a stage name, and Olive, not Lindsay, beating a gofer with a pack of (whatever food company would be Star Search’s sponsor)?
Now I’m really curious to see how this arc will turn out. Original Lindsay deliberately said some… interesting things to Olivia that caused her to mess up her performance. Since Lindsay is nicer and more fair in this version, I can’t imagine what monumentally wrong things she’ll end up saying to Olivia.
So it’s a role reversal of the original, eh? Wonder if Olivia will (though unintentional) plant the seeds in Lindsay’s head about pressure & LINDS is the one who pukes onstage. Or maybe the smoking thing will be her undoing like last time. Only 1 way to find out.
Also am I the only one who thinks these two would make a good duo?
