Here’s what I think. Lindsay will sing her heart out, win the hearts of the crowd. But she’ll still lose because Staci is the one with all the money. But I think, Staci will do something to disqualify herself, and it will put Lindsay up there again. But I’m thinking Lindsay will gracefully back down, because she’s got friends she might end up leaving behind.
I have a feeling that line might be foreshadowing unfortunate events. Because I recall Jesse saying that a criticism he’s been receiving about Lindsay is that she’s “too perfect”, and he said that this arc will serve to rectify that.
Either way, comparing the arc so far to the original is like comparing night and day and it’s a vast improvement.
