I think Lindsay is acting the way she is right at the moment because she’s seen what that kind of drama can do to people. Perhaps she’s seen it from the outside looking in, maybe she’s experienced it herself. She’s probably glad they moved to a quieter town just so she doesn’t have to deal with it. Now look what’s happened.
Claire doesn’t seem to like Drama as much when she’s on the receiving end. Craig _might_ not have lost many brain cells to football. Not from the “operational” pile, at least.

One thing I’m surprised I haven’t already noticed is that it seems like virtually every character is stuck in their own little fantasy that corresponds to whatever product of the 90s’ that was released at the time. In this case, Claire thinks things will work out the way they do in 90210.
Thing is, Claire, you don’t realize you’re living in reality. Actually, it sounds more like you’re living in denial. Katy lives in denial almost everyday and she, more often than not, pays for it.
The fact that Lindsay is really devastated and not even planning vengence, or heavily cussing her out speaks volumes of how different she is from her previous incarnation.
