I guess Lindsay couldn’t “stand” what Annie was doing any longer.

After being hit by The Stand, Annie no longer could.

If not character development, at least let it be a lesson learned for Kevin. It’s ALWAYS the quiet ones.

For the first time, Annie regretted buying the hardback version. 😆
And yes, a little character dev for Kevin, please?

I’m actually amazed Annie’s still standing in panel 1. I mean, think about it: Craig, a high school football quarterback who probably weighs something like 200 pounds of pure muscle, just hit her full-force with a flying tackle. She wasn’t wearing any kind of padding or protective gear. She should be knocked out cold with several broken bones, or at the very least have the wind knocked out of her. And yet, here she is, brandishing a lamp and looking none the worse for wear.

I wonder if Kevin will walk away from this having learned a valuable lesson and triggering some needed character development. I’m not holding my breath though.

She took a Stand, to the head. I don’t have a copy to weigh, but there’s a chance Annie might want something a little more medical than a bag of frozen peas for that.
So, Craig, and Lindsey both score points. Kevin did nothing but be tied to a bed and he still wants all the glory. They should have let Annie have him.

Is that… a genuine smile out of Kevin that’s NOT full of his usual douchebagery?

The thing she loved most was used against her!

Honestly, Kevin’s meek look in the last panel is actually kinda adorable. Somebody finally managed to break his thick skin, and his usual attempts to look like he was the real hero actually falls flat because he actually LOOKS like he’s trying to hide it.
