Hey now! There’s still King Kong, and the Conan stage show, and Alfred Hitchcock, and the monster makeup show, and… okay, yeah, Universal Orlando was pretty boring in its first year of operation.
The BTTF ride is the only real red flag. The rest, eh, what’re they going to do? Make it worse than a typical family road trip? When you know it’s a disaster, it’s not a surprise. The food/souvenirs prices are likely going to be super high, though.

The HB ride was quite good from what I saw (and quite similar to the “Back to the Future ride, I might add).
