…anyone remember that Fresh Prince episode with the clown? The one who took Uncle Phil hostage? I’m only asking because this is a Wednesday strip and we’ve already escalated to this.
Well, Red-Rain that would be okay if Jessica hadn’t met Lindsay only like 2 days ago. This went down way too quickly for us to get a full investment into the story. Jessica could have been a recurring foil to Lindsay but now she is clearly just going ot be headed to asylum.
This… escalated way too far. O.o I figured it would escalate very quickly, but it went way too far. Not only will she be in a mental hospital, she’ll probably get transferred to a juvenile detention center right after. Or probably not at all.
To be fair Gonzo22, I think this storyline is only being written to possibly write Jessica out. I mean, we already saw how twisted she could be in the last incarnation of this strip. I’m sure after this storyline is over, we will get back to some good and light-hearted humor.
Okay this is officially gone TOO far. Your making Jessica way too crazy. I mean you’ve made things to Bat-crazy. I had problems with your previous strips but it seems you’ve switch those problems for these new ones. And if this is how it’s going to be than I’m not sure if I keep reading. Which really disappoints me since I like how things were going until this storyline.
Wow, that’s out of control. 🙂 I thought she’s just crash the game, embarrass herself by collapsing, and be carted away by medics. This is step up. Hmm, it’s unlikely she’d have actual explosives, so perhaps a dye pack bomb? Actual explosives would be better used on the water main for the cheerleader’s changeroom.
I know it’s realistic for people to have deep, emotional problems. But I don’t think it’s realistic for a MAJORITY of the people in this comic to have problems this bad.
Granted, it’s so far not as rampant as the original, but this arc still is not exactly what I was anticipating when being told that there would be no melodrama.
Is that actually a bomb, or did she tape a walkman to herself.
