MegaJar, the others are still mindless. They’re just gold-diggers, latching onto whoever they deem the “most popular” among them. Linds has been seen (if only for a second or two) by millions of people. How many have seen Jessica? Hundreds? MAYBE a thousand?
Not only is New Lindsay a breath of fresh air compared to Old Lindsay, but it’s also gratifying to see the other cheerleaders actually have minds of their own and don’t just blindly do whatever their cheer captain tells them.
New Lindsey vs old Lindsey? Is that the new setup? 🙂 And it’d be a good reason why someone just happens to have a copy of Heathers. I wonder what other movies Lindsey has? What were the bus stop ads like?
Oh, this is so satisfying. Glad to see that this Lindsay actually treats people decently in comparison to Alpha Bitch Jessica. Which is why Jessica’s karma is going to be much more gratifying to read in future strips.
I see Lindsay’s comparatively more successful in this version.
After doing some thinking, I take back what I said about Lindsay being unrealistically nice compared to the rest of her family. Cause there’s always gonna be that one member of the family that’s the most positive.
That said, I share the same feelings as Troyodon; I like that Lindsay is starting off as a nice person, thus creating some balance within her family, but I feel like it takes away from the character development she received. That’s why I’m hoping to see Lindsay pull SOMETHING that’ll show she’s not at least entirely all there.
One thing I do appreciate, however, is Lindsay totally owning Jessica in a way that doesn’t drive her to seek mental help lol
