I must say, I actually like this new version of Lindsay over the old one! Sure, she’s a wee bit superficial, but it’s nice to see her be much more nicer!
1. I do like that Nice Lindsay is carried over from the last arc of her character from the previous continuity, and this personality does helpt to even out the dynamic for this new take on her family
2. On the other hand, it takes away from her own development as a character.
Overall though I still look forward to this new take.
Looks like all the bad elements in that family fall solely on Patty and Kev. And they seem more “comically elitist” than “genuinely horrible.” Kind of waiting to see Rick as more Hank Hill than a monsterous abuser. It’d be better for him to get angry if it’s directed at the right people.
Gotta say, I am liking this new version of Lindsay. She is definitely a lot nicer in comparison to her previous alpha bitch incarnation. Its also cool to see her and Katy being friendly with one another.
Either she’s up to something, or the reboot just keeps Lindsay’s new nice girl personality from the start (albeit a tad bit ditzier than usual). Kinda hoping the former is going to be the case, since she seems a bit too unrealistically nice compared to the rest of her douchebag family.

I’m not sure if Rick will be appearing in the new continuity, but then again, an Early Hank Hill would be a VAST improvement compared to his last one.

Lindsey is just as insulting/belittling, but she says it with such helpfulness that it’s funny.
