I like Joel and Aaron’s friendship

Andrew Scott, there was no Leap Day in 1990, so the next strip was delayed as a result.

It’s been 2 days and no new comic. Is everything okay?

Okay, I was going to complain about Jesse coming up with one-dimensional monsters for antagonists again, but the sad thing is that there ARE abusive arse-hauls like Jon are out there. Maybe not in such drastic terms, but this IS a comic strip.

And, let’s get real: Jon’s career died when he assaulted a minor in public and screamed that he’d kill him.

Okay, JB, let’s see what you’ve got cooking!

We get this instead of Joel getting macked on by a hot Russian chick? *sigh* Freakin’ realism.

Actually, it probably would be good for business. “Is this the McD’s where that manager flipped out?”

I don’t know about anybody else, but… wouldn’t this be a perfect situation to introduce Rick?
If he’s meant to be show in a more positive light, wouldn’t it be a good thing to show him put Jonny-boy over here in his place for threatening HIS SON?

I know that at this point all the scripts are set in stone and probably drawn already, but still… wouldn’t that be nice? Wouldn’t that be a nice “what if scenario”?

Nice to see Aaron showing some guts and sticking up for Joel.

I know it’s time for running, not pointing and laughing, but being threatened with a McDonalds tray by a flipout isn’t the most menacing of weapons, or scenarios.
I think Aaron IS used to these kind of people, and can cut them to the quick with just a few words if he ever wants to. As seen here.

Damn, attacking a paying customer. That’s gonna look REAL good.

Meanwhile, the pickle lady is still waiting for her free meal, the entitled bitch.

Enjoy your time in the strip Jon, cause of this arc not only will you be fired but if we’re lucky you’ll be in jail as well.

What a time for a cliffhanger! But alas, 1990 wasn’t a leap year, so that means there’s no comic scheduled for tomorrow. Sorry, folks, but I’ll try to have something for you on my DeviantArt page to make up for it. See you on March 1!

You’d think with a father like Rick and the people he goes to school with, Aaron would be used to these kind of people.
