    @Michael Wolff Do you use your time machine for exclusively early Victorian holidays, or do you go to other eras?

    I’m gonna go out on a limb here and “third” the suggestion that William could have probably done without telling the kids about this.

    @TheJayster49: Fascinating point.

    It’s always easy to gamble when it’s not YOUR money, Katy.

    Yeah, you probably should not have told Joel and Katy about the gambling incident William.

    Katy, as someone who was mostly friendless in grade school, let me give you this advice. You already have Ashleigh, a true friend who really understands you and will stick with you through good times and bad. One loyal, understanding, supportive BFF is worth a thousand fair-weather “friends”. Treasure her like gold!!!

    Y’know, unrelated to this particular arc, but Katy and Joel are more alike than they would like to admit.

    Both of them only have that one friend who supports the each step of the way, both of them desperately seek approval from others, they both want a life partner, and they both run out of options for solutions to their problems rather quickly.

    You really have to wonder which side of the Maxwell family do they get their problematic genes from lol

    Yeah, never tell your kids you *coulda* won big. You’ll just disappoint them lol
