I’m hoping that Katy’s freezing up is due to her being unsure of how to respond to a “hot” boy telling her she’s “cute”, and not from his asking if he can trust her to not spill the beans. That the teacher was in the library with them both when he confessed, though, will result in the freeze up being due to the former.
